New construction on the seafront in Platja d'Aro

Located on the beachfront in Platja d'Aro, Brava is a new residential development designed to establish a direct connection between architecture, landscape, and the Mediterranean.

A project by Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, it occupies one of the most privileged locations on the Costa Brava.

The development offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with different layouts adapted to various lifestyles by the sea.

These include ground-floor units with private gardens and direct access to the surrounding countryside, as well as penthouses with spacious solariums and private pools.

The architecture has been designed to keep the Mediterranean as the central focus.

The layouts, orientations, and large glazed surfaces maximize natural light and visually extend the interiors onto terraces and outdoor spaces, creating a seamless flow between the homes and the landscape.

The communal areas are organized around a large swimming pool situated between the residences and the beach, conceived as a visual extension of the sea.

The complex also includes a children's pool, a fully equipped gym, a paddle tennis court, and a multipurpose room, creating different spaces dedicated to the well-being and leisure of its residents.

Inside, the homes combine contemporary design and high-end features.

They include porcelain flooring, a security entrance door, built-in wardrobes, lacquered interior woodwork, and fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms with high-end brands.

Comfort and efficiency are integral parts of the project.

The homes feature an aerothermal system for domestic hot water and underfloor heating, ducted air conditioning via heat pump, and aluminum exterior joinery with thermal break and double glazing.

A home automation system allows control of the climate control, lighting, and motorized blinds, integrating technology and comfort into everyday life.

The development will also have BREEAM certification, one of the leading international standards for assessing building sustainability, which evaluates aspects related to efficiency, occupant well-being, and the reduction of environmental impact throughout its life cycle.
